1984Pierre Balmain Ltd. receives the prestigious Golden Thimble trophy. 
1987The Swatch Group LTD acquires exclusive license for production and marketing rights. 
1995The Swatch Group LTD buys the Pierre Balmain brand for watches products world-wide. 
1997Celebration of 10 Years Pierre Balmain Watches, launching of a limited edition of a Platinium Collection called ELYSEES 64-83. 
1998Launching of the Chronolady Collection and the first smallest chrono movement produced in series. 
2000Launching of an exclusive mirror watch. 
2001Launching of the line Excessive, still today this collection is part of the collection having a great success. 
2005Beginning of the partnership with Miss Suisse Organisation. Lauriane Gilliéron is elected Miss Switzerland and the model Arcade Chronolady is created for this 1st edition. 
2006Christa Rigozzi is elected Miss Suisse. Balmainia Chrono lady is launched ! 
2007Amanda Ammann is Miss Suisse, wearing the watch model Jolie Madame Chronolady. 
2008Whitney Toyloy Miss Suisse and the famous model Elysées Chrono lady.

Balmain offices in Saint-Imier, are renovated to reveal an image of elegance taking its inspiration from the arabesques artwork.
